Balloon Bust Festival

We headed out to the Plano Balloon Festival this past Saturday. It was our first time to go and didn't realize we were going to have to walk over a mile to the festival after parking..and to top it off they never launched the hot air balloons because it was too windy. Basically we spent $40 to park, get in to the festival and eat. We tried finding the kid area but it was so packed it wasn't worth trying to get through all the people, so we turned around and went home. :( It would have been nice if they would have at least aired the balloon up and let us look at. Ethan kept asking "where's the balloon".
Throughout the time we were waiting on the launch several small balloons (that kids let go of) would fly off in the sky and we joked that that was what we came for. It at least kept Ethan a little entertained.

Wrestling with his daddy to pass the time. Ethan did really good and it didn't matter how loud or rowdy he got since there were so many people and lots of noise.

And here we are on the long walk back to the car. On the way there Ethan walked almost the entire way, but on the way back he was tired, so Nathan had to carry him most of the time. I was regretting packing away his stroller at this point...oh well.
