Bowling birthday fun!

We celebrated my birthday a few days early and enjoyed a family fun filled time of bowling, cupcakes and bbq!!!

My parents, sister, her husband and Gavin met us in Frisco. We had so much fun! It was Ethan and Gavin's first time to bowl and they had a blast!!! Gavin was able to bowl with out too much help, although most of the time the ball would only make it half way down the gutter.

Ethan wanted to bowl every time someone went up there for their turn. He LOVED it. I didn't know if this would be one of those things that I thought he would enjoy and when we get there he doesn't (ie. the Christmas train ride....) When we got to the place, they had a sign that said no one under 48 inches tall could bowl, that took out both Ethan and Gavin and we were so disappointed. But we, being the rebels we are, decided that the boys could bowl and if we wanted them too and no one said a word to us.



My parents got cupcakes from The Cupcakery and they were so good! That's been our bakery of choice lately since we can pick and choose different flavors and it's just enough for each of us.
