Despite some of my previous posts, Ethan really is such a sweet little boy. It's cutting teeth that make him have an attitude.
He loves to give hugs and be snuggled.
He has this new grunt thing he does and expects you to grunt back to him (thanks to my dad for that) . He grunts at anything, I think as a sort of communication and if it doesn't grunt back, he grunts several more times and then moves on to the next thing to grunt at.
He says "dada" all the time, but sometimes it sounds like he's saying "die die". And he jibber jabbers other words, but "mama" is nowhere to be found in his current vocabulary. **sigh**
He went from almost crawling to not even about to crawl. He just rolls to where ever he wants to go.
He loves to stand, but has to be held up the entire time.
He gets bored easily. There for a while, we could put him in the jumperoo and he would be ok for 10-20 minutes, now it's maybe 5 minutes and he's done.
He's also figured out what sounds to make to get our attention. And he does it all the time.
He loves the water, loves to splash. Yeah! Beach, here we come!
He loves to look at himself in the mirror too. He smiles at himself and will "kiss" the mirror. So vain! But it keeps him occupied, so I constantly put a mirror in front of him.

He is so cute! I can't believe he's 8 months already. And he'll be saying mama and a lot more before you know it... time goes so fast when they're little.
