18 month pictures

Last weekend we headed over to JC Penny's to get Ethan's 18 month pictures.

I was a little hesitant about getting them b/c lately he's been camera shy, but I knew if I didn't at least try, I would regret it.
At first he wasn't too sure of the whole thing, but the photographer had a bouncy ball that lit up and that is all it took to get his little face smiling.

I thought they turned out pretty good. I even managed to get a quick shirt change.

We also went in for his 18 month check up and all is looking pretty good.

He's 25 pounds 11 ounces (50th %tile) hasn't gained an ounce of weight since his 15 month check up, but I'm not really surprised since he eats so little.

He's 34.3 inches tall (95th %tile)

His noggin' is still quite large coming in at over the 100th %tile.

No vaccines this time, but they did do a finger prick to check his hemoglobin levels. Ethan was NOT happy about that. He cried harder and longer over it, than he does the shots. The main problem was the band aid. He's never had a band aid on before and this one was wrapped tightly around his finger and he was not having it! The nurse said to try to keep it on him at least 5 minutes, but we barely made it to the car without having to take it off. And after that, he was fine.

All is good with his health and baring any sickness (fingers crossed!) we won't see Dr G until his 2 year check up!
