Cancun-continued (again)

Ok, apparently blogger will only allow you to put 5 pictures per post.
Here we are on the beach, since we didn't want to keep bothering people to take our picture, we would do the "hold one hand out with the camera and get in close" pose.

Here we are one night before dinner. The food was excellent. It was gourmet style, small portions, and a lot of courses. Presentation was everything, our scrambled eggs came with 3 small pieces of bacon sticking up out of them like little flags.

There are three pools at this resort. Two in the back towards the beach, one on the first floor the other on the third floor (pictured), and the third pool in the front toward the lagoon. The pools are what is called infinity pools, meaning the horizon of the pool meets the ocean.

Here's a picture of one of the rain storms. It was neat, we would sit there watching it move across the ocean and would run in, just when it got to us.

Here's a picture of the sunset one evening.

All-in-all it was a great trip. We didn't do much of anything except sit around and sleep, which is great! Cancun isn't our favorite, but we also didn't go out into the town and "experience" it. We would definitely go back to the hotel. The water and beach was much better compared to the Bahamas and the food and service put Sandals resort to shame (and Sandals was very nice).
Next year....maybe Tahiti!
